DAY 7 A short walk across a stage and into the future

Monday 15th July

Graduation Day! - the purpose of my visit to London.

As many of you are well aware, I like nothing more than unique and new experiences. So today, I find myself among the emerging young talents of this world as i witness Sian's graduation from the University of the Arts, London (Chelsea College of Art and Design) with a BA Hons in Interior and Spatial Design. What a great honour it is to be here to celebrate this significant achievement
Me with the graduand just prior to the ceremony

Inside the Royal Festival Hall waiting for the ceremony to begin. I shed so many tears of joy that I lost a little paint off my spout.

And here's our new graduate. A prouder teapot there has never been!

I think I cut quite the dashing fellow, and at least it keeps the sun off my lid. It is very hot today.

After the ceremony we celebrated with a glass of good cheer and took plenty of photos, until Sian almost fainted from wearing such heavy garb in such extreme heat.

The emotion of it all got to every one of us, and we all had to go home and have a nanna nap in the afternoon.

Congratulations Sian, I'm a lucky Little Yellow Teapot to be able to share this day with you xxx
