DAY 4 .....goin' off to the country

Friday 12th July

Today we are all heading out to Norfolk to meet Owen's parents, and muck around with the Syrette family skeletons.
It seems that we had another day where I was shoved in a handbag and completely ignored. The train trip to pick up our hire car was hot and tiring, but nothing compared to the stress of working out the gear box of the Vauxhall Mareva in busy airport traffic.
I wonder if going around all those roundabouts at high speed in 3rd gear caused this hitherto unnoticed injury to my spout?
On second thoughts, I probably got this in New Zealand -land of the long white glue gun.

I had better be extra careful over the next two weeks so I don't damage myself further. Careful on those roundabout exists please Alex

The end of the long day saw us holed up in the George and Dragon in Long Melton, Suffolk. Grateful for the cider and the comfortable bed.
